District Covid-19 Testing

Thanks to our partnership with LMH Health and Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, the school district will offer COVID-19 screening testing during the next two weeks. Thank you to those staff who choose to participate to help ensure that our schools remain safe learning environments for everyone. During the next two weeks, we will test 25% of students whose families provided consent for them to participate and offer testing to 100% of staff, who may opt-in/out.

Student Testing Dates:     B-Day Students – Tues, Dec. 8     /     A-Day Students – Thurs, Dec. 10

If a student tests positive, LDCPH will be in touch with the parent/guardian to discuss contact tracing and the next steps.  Please note, if LDCPH’s Smart and Safe School Reopening Guidance changes to “Phase Red” next week, schools will shift to remote learning and testing will be postponed until a later date when students return to learning in-person in the hybrid model.
