Applications for the 2020-21 Link Crew are now available.  If you didn't receive a copy of the application during your 7th hour on Thursday, please see one of the Link Coordinators to get one.  The Link Coordinators are Ms. Schrag, Mr. Frye, Mr. Lane, Ms. Coursen, Ms. Leuschen, and Ms. Reimers. All completed applications are due by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 - BEFORE Spring Break begins!  Turn in your applications to the box in the Main Office by Ms. McCaleb's desk. Questions?  Ask one of the Link Coordinators - and get ready to welcome the Chesty Lion class of 2024!

Do you need a summer job?  Like being outside and watching baseball?  Coach Stoll is looking for a tournament director!  Games are on the Fridays-Sunday at the LHS baseball field. For more information, please talk to Coach Stoll.  And remember, it's a great day to be a Chesty Lion.

Are you interested in taking more action against climate change? Come to environmental club in Ms. Ball’s new room 197 after school this Wednesday for a presentation from the Sunrise Movement, a youth led climate activism group!

Come to Coach Johnson's room 262 after school for Yoga and Mindfulness!

NHS wants your pants!! We are sponsoring a denim drive for Habitat for Humanity.  The collection box is in the main office.  The denim will be repurposed, so any condition is perfect to donate! 

Make sure to sign up for the blood drive at the stuco lunch table today through Wednesday. The drive will be Thursday, March 5. If you’re 16 then you need a parent permission form which you can pick up at the stuco table at lunch. 17 and up can simply sign up for a time. 

Track practice will start today in the weight room at 3:30. Be ready to work out.

AVID Seniors are back at it again with another Service Learning Project. We are partnering with the Lawrence Lions Club. Starting March 2 we will be collecting gently used prescription eyeglasses, and prescription sunglasses to send overseas to third world countries. Make sure that you place a piece of tape on the glasses letting us know the prescription, so that it will be easier to give them out. Remember, if you don't need them anymore, someone else does. Drop-off locations are: Mr. Miles Rm. 210, Mrs. Henry Rm. 206, Student Services Rm. 101, Ms. Oswald Mod 4, and in the Library.

Don’t forget to take advantage of after school tutoring for 1 hour in the Library Classroom
