  • A career in Business and Technology is exciting, challenging, and ever-changing. Students pursuing a business career need a solid background in math, communication, and technical skills.  Those interested in Computer Technology need skills in math, science and technical skills.  Careers in technology involve the design, development, support, and management of hardware, software, multimedia and systems integration services.  There are thousands of opportunities within the high-skilled world of Business and Technology.  Given the critical nature of much of the work in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, job possibilities abound even in times of economic downturn.  The business and finance industry is a critical sector of the United States economy. Nearly half of all jobs are in managerial and business occupations with over six million people employed in finance-related occupations and 16 million in sales and related occupations. 

    In these courses, students will have the opportunity to complete hands-on projects to develop skills and ideas to design, develop and support a business venture or a new or emerging technology.  Students will have the opportunity to interact with business and industry professionals in this exciting field
