Winter Weather Tips

Staying Safe (and Warm) in Winter Weather
You know what's not cool? Frostbite!
When it's cold, keep yourself and your child warm by wearing:
- A hat, scarf, and/or knit mask over your face and mouth.
- A coat, mittens or gloves, and layered clothing.
- A pair of insulated boots and wool socks.
Extremities like the hands, feet, ears, and nose are most susceptible to frostbite, so take special care to wear clothing that keeps them warm and dry. There tend to be lots of coats and jackets in the school Lost and Found, so check there if yours is missing.
