Kansas public schools need advocates to write legislators and let them know how bills will affect our children’s education! When you write it is helpful to put the bill number in the subject line, then state whether you approve or oppose the bill and why in the body of the email.

Please copy House and Senate leadership when you send emails:

for House bills (representatives) copy the Speaker of the House (dan.hawkins@house.ks.gov) and the House Minority Leader (Vic.Miller@house.ks.gov)
for Senate bills copy the Senate President (Ty.Masterson@senate.ks.gov) and the Senate Minority leader (Dinah.Sykes@senate.ks.gov)
