Lawrence Schools Foundation Supports Learning Forward, Future Ready
Thanks to a $39,000 donation from the Lawrence Schools Foundation, Lawrence Public Schools purchased 200 additional Kajeet SmartSpot® Hotspots to add to the 120 portable internet devices already available to middle school students for library media center checkout. The portable internet hotspots will be distributed to school library media centers in proportion to the percentage of the student body qualifying for free or reduced-price school lunches.

The donation enabled the school district to purchase 200 additional Kajeet internet hotspots.
Kajeets are available for check-out in all middle school libraries.
Low-Cost Home Internet Services
The district continues to recommend families consider low-cost internet services available through www.EveryoneOn.org. In addition, several family-friendly businesses and organizations in Lawrence offer free Wi-Fi services, such as the Lawrence Public Library.
