Hello!  My name is Joyce Shontz.  I have been an SLP for many years and have worked with individuals across the life span. The majority of those years I worked in Kansas City, Kansas and surrounding communities.  Five years ago, I made the best professional decision of my life and joined Lawrence Public Schools.  I am a native Lawrenceian and attended Lawrence public schools throughout my journey into adulthood.  It is my honor and privilege to now get to work with the ever diverse families that make up our wonderful community.  I especially love working at Kennedy Early Childhood Center and empowering our young people and their families. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my spouse, family, friends and two very spoiled cats!
