After years of teaching and art-making far and wide, it brings me great joy to return home to this incredible place to teach art. I am so honored to be serving and celebrating the Woodlawn community this year.

A graduate of Lawrence High School, I hold a BA from Brown University in Providence, RI, and an MFA from Mills College in Oakland, CA. My teaching journey includes work at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Mills College, the Baldwin Lumberyard Art Center, and schools in Mexico City, Mexico, and Portland, OR. As a practicing artist, I specialize in painting and interdisciplinary work, and, like my teaching, my artwork explores interconnectedness and fosters a sense of wonder. Beyond the classroom and studio, I am lucky to be accompanied on many an adventure - backpacking, running, farming - by my adorable pup, Moose.
