Welcome to 4th Grade! We have a great year of learning ahead of us!

I have always loved working with children, so education was a natural career choice for me.  I grew up in Lawrence and attended LHS.  As I watched my mom, who is also a teacher in the district, make such a difference in students' lives, I knew I had to be a teacher.  I attended Fort Hays State University but was lucky to do my student teaching here in Lawrence, at Quail Run Elementary.  I was hired right after that, and Deerfield has been my home ever since.

When I'm not at Deerfield, I am spending time with my two amazing children and husband.  We love KU football, KU basketball, all things Disney, and are huge movie fans.
