My name is Christina Smith and I am so excited to have the opportunity to join the Cordley family!  

I began my teaching career with Topeka Public Schools, where I taught 1st and 4th grade for 6 years. I was lucky enough to spend the next five years teaching here in Lawrence at Quail Run Elementary.  For the past two years I subbed throughout the district; it was a great way to get a feel for the other buildings’ environments and cultures.  This will be my first year as a learning coach!

 Aside from teaching, my passions include spending time with my family, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and reading.
