Hello Bobcats!

My name is Maddie Urish and I am a Kindergarten Teacher at Langston Hughes. I have always been a Langston Bobcat in my heart because I am an alumni. I am so happy to be back teaching where I have such amazing memories. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Kansas as well as my certification in Teaching Students of Other Languages (ESL). I can't wait to learn along with your students this year and start the kindergarten adventure! Continuing to learn and grow in education excites and motivates me to always to strive to do the best for all of my students. Outside of school, I get to enjoy my family and be outside as much as possible. I love being a Langston Hughes Bobcat!
