Welcome!!!

My name is Elisa Burgoon and this is my 10th year in education. I received my BSE from the University of Kansas in 2015 and my MaEd from Baker University in 2018. The first 6 years of my career were spent in elementary education, while the last 3 have been here at Southwest Middle School. As a student, I attended SWMS, so this school holds a very special place in my heart.

This school year, I will be teaching Introduction to Pre-Algebra 6 and Math 6. I also coach the 7th grade volleyball team and sponsor Student Council. Excited to see what this school year will bring!
