COVID Vaccination Clinics

  • Lawrence Public Schools partners with Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health to offer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine as an option for students ages 16 and older, school staff, and the public. First-Dose Vaccination Clinics will be held at LHS, Free State High, and Lawrence College and Career Center as follows:

    May 12 - Lawrence High School, 1901 Louisiana St.
    10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Students 16 & Up and School Staff

    1:00-3:00 p.m. Public Ages 16 & Up (Public should use West Gym Entrance)

    May 19 - Free State High School, 4700 Overland Dr.
    10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Students 16 & Up and School Staff

    To sign up, go to ldchealth.org/getmyvaccine and enter the appropriate clinic’s registration code to select the date and appointment time. All clinics will also accept walk-ins.

    Parent/Guardian consent is required for students ages 16 and 17 to receive their first dose of vaccine. Here are instructions for completing the consent form in PowerSchool. If you need assistance with PowerSchool, call the Help Desk x 4357. Consent is required by the day of the clinic.

    Pfizer has provided this Fact Sheet about the vaccine. LDCPH will contact those receiving their first dose when it's time to make an appointment to receive the second dose. Direct any questions to the Douglas County COVID Helpline at 785-864-9000.
