Welcome  to the 2021-22 school year! I am excited to be at Deerfield.  This is my first full year here and I could not be more excited to start this year in 2nd grade!  This is my 17th year teaching and my 14th year teaching 2nd grade.  2nd grade is a magical year for students; we are moving through the learning to read, and  entering the reading to learn phase of education.  It is an exciting time.  I look forward to the year ahead!
