Ms. Kari Hadl
Hello Schwegler Cubs!
I was born and raised in the Eudora and Lawrence area. Go Jayhawks! I graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with and Emphasis in Early Childhood in 2013. This will be my seventh year in teaching and I have taught first, third and fifth grades. I am excited for this new adventure of teaching fourth grade and all of the wonderful moments that this year will bring!
I have two dogs named Maverick and Graham. I absolutely love spending time with them outside.
I love being a teacher! I knew from a young age that I could relate to people, especially younger children. I had many opportunities to help younger kids throughout my twelve years of Douglas County 4-H and that's where my love of teaching began. My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the AHA-moments in students' eyes and watching them making connections from our learning to their own life.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege of teaching your child this year! I know we are all nervous for the unknowns coming this school year, but I want you to know that your child's education is a team effort and I will do everything in my power to do what is best for YOUR child. I ask that you give me grace as I am navigating a new school district, a new school and a new format for distance teaching as I offer all of my families grace and patience for this learning curve.
If you need me, I am only an e-mail or phone call away!
