My name is Brittany Harrell, and I’m thrilled to be starting my fifth year at Lawrence High School! Before this, I spent six years teaching at Liberty Memorial Central Middle School (LMCMS). I graduated from The University of Kansas in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and completed the UKanTeach Program. I’m passionate about collaborating with fellow math educators to find the best ways to support our students and help them achieve their highest potential.

I can’t wait to get to know all of you! In my free time, I enjoy playing kickball and disc golf, and I love watching my son, a junior at Lawrence High, play all kinds of sports. We also have three dogs—Rico, Chico, and Meeko—that keep our lives lively. As a proud Lawrence townie, it’s a true honor to return and teach at my alma mater. It’s ALWAYS a GREAT day to be a LION! 🦁
