Hello, I am Valerie Barkley.  This will be my second year teaching third grade at Langston Hughes, however, not my first year of teaching.  I began teaching in 2011, teaching first grade for the first six years of my career and Title 1 Reading (K-5) for three years. 

I can't wait to meet my 3rd graders!  

Langston Hughes is a great place to be and I look forward to being a part of the Bobcat community!!
