Hello! My name is Lucie Costanza. I attended the University of Kansas and received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After graduating, I made the decision to go back to school and received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University. I also received a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Social and Cultural Studies from the University of Kansas. I am in the process of becoming endorsed in ESL (English as a Second Language) through Kansas State University.

The 2021-2022 school year is my third year at Schwegler and my third year teaching 5th grade! Previously, I taught 1st grade at a dual-language school in USD 501 and was a paraprofessional at Kennedy Elementary. Last school year, I taught a full-year distance 5th grade class with students from across the district. My favorite aspect of teaching is building strong relationships with my students and helping them build confidence within themselves to achieve anything they set their mind to as learners. I look forward to working with both parents and scholars to make this school year a success!
