Greetings LHS students and families!
My name is Leah Henry, and I teach English Language Arts at Lawrence High School. This is my 20th year teaching and my 15th year in the district. I graduated from Baker University in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Secondary Education. I returned to Baker in 2015 to earn my Master's Degree in the Arts of Education (2017). I taught at Washburn Rural Alternative High School in Topeka, KS and the Juvenile Detention Center in Lawrence before coming to LHS. I am a Lawrencian and graduated from Lawrence High School (long, long ago). I have two children who attend school in the district, and I am proud to call Lawrence my home.
