Hello Lawrence High Families!  I am excited to work with your child.  The year 2020-21 will be my 26th year teaching Special Education.  I taught at the elementary level for many years and recently made the jump to high school.  I attended Emporia State University and The University of Kansas. Lawrence High is dear to me as I am a graduate of LHS as well as all three of my children are LHS Alums! My husband and I will celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary this year and we offically became empty nesters.  

I teach Integrated Studies, Individual Goals English and Individual Goals Math for the students on my caseload.  A goal for my students has always been to help them increase thier independence in as many ways possible.  Resources, accommodations, technology and tools will be presented and practiced as I help them discover their own capabilities and talents.
