Dr. Barb Williams
High School English Language Arts
I began my journey as an educator in 2001. Throughout my career in education, I have served in many roles: English teacher, AVID teacher, AVID coordinator, assistant principal, athletic director, and college professor. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in English Language Arts, I have a bachelor’s degree in Literature from Kansas University, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Baker University.
Curriculum, teaching, and especially working with students are all professional passions in my life. I am a lifelong learner and I value learning from diverse perspectives and building positive relationships along the way. I look forward to working with all LVS students and families!
