ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Next Adult Education Sessions begin on October 23rd, 2023
Next English Language Acquisition (ESL) Classes begin in January 2024
Our classes are delivered in person at a convenient time that you select. We offer flexibility to accommodate certain life situations, but by signing up, you are committed to meeting in person.
If you are interested in enrolling for our next GED (October) or ESL (January), please click on the link below:
GED Enrollment Link for January 2024-
Mandatory Orientation January 8th-11th (must attend all 4 days to complete enrollment)
GED Classes will start the following week, on Tuesday, January 16th
*Materials Fee: $25 (Annual)
ESL Enrollment for January 2024- (must attend all 4 days to complete enrollment)

*Non-Permanent Resident Visas Materials Fee: $100

Adult Learning Center

Individuals have achieved their Kansas State High School Diplomas through GED completion for more than 40 years. Many Adult Learning Center clients further their education, achieve job promotions, and improve their employment position. You may earn your Kansas State High School diploma through successful completion of the GED test. Make that life change now through the Lawrence Adult Learning Center, a tried-and-true program.
Major programs offered through the Adult Learning Center include:
Basic Reading and Math Skills: This program will teach basic reading and math skills and strategies essential in improving the participant’s knowledge base. Identified individual learning needs will determine the skills and strategies to be covered.
GED Preparation: Math, reading, writing, social studies and science classes, vital for successful completion of the GED exam, are provided to students.English as a Second Language: This program integrates English language listening, speaking, writing and reading instruction. Fall and spring semester classes are offered.
