ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Next Adult Education Sessions begin on May 20th, 2024
Next English Language Acquisition (ESL) Classes begin in August 2024
Our classes are delivered in person at a time convenient to you. We offer flexibility to accommodate certain life situations, but by signing up, you are committed to meeting in person.

GED Enrollment Link for May 2024-
Mandatory Orientation Monday, May 20th - Thursday, May 23rd(Must attend all 4 days to complete enrollment)
GED Classes will start the following week, on Tuesday, May 28th.
$25 Material Fee due at orientation (Cash, Check, or Money Order)
ESL Enrollment for August 2024- (must attend all 4 days to complete enrollment)
Mandatory Orientation August- (Dates will be announced soon)

*Non-Permanent Resident Visas Materials Fee: $100

Adult Learning Center

Individuals have achieved their Kansas State High School Diplomas through GED completion for more than 40 years. Many Adult Learning Center clients further their education, achieve job promotions, and improve their employment position. You may earn your Kansas State High School diploma through successful completion of the GED test. Make that life change now through the Lawrence Adult Learning Center, a tried-and-true program.
Major programs offered through the Adult Learning Center include:
Basic Reading and Math Skills: This program will teach basic reading and math skills and strategies essential in improving the participant’s knowledge base. Identified individual learning needs will determine the skills and strategies to be covered.
GED Preparation: Math, reading, writing, social studies and science classes, vital for successful completion of the GED exam, are provided to students.English as a Second Language: This program integrates English language listening, speaking, writing and reading instruction. Fall and spring semester classes are offered.
