9-12 Interrelated Resource

Hello! My name is John Gorman and this will be my seventh year teaching at Lawrence Virtual School. I have taught special education in the Lawrence Public School district for 18 years. I have spent one of those years at the elementary level and the other 17 have been at the middle or high school level. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I also have a Doctoral Degree in Instructional Design & Performance Technology. 

I was born in Georgia, but have spent the last 36 years of my life living in Kansas. I reside in Lawrence, KS, with my wife. We share our home with a humongous cat (Diego) and a hyperactive mini-Aussie (Murphy)!

I am very excited to be a part of LVS and always look forward to working with the staff, families, and students in our amazing learning community.
