Hello Parents!

I am thrilled to be a part of Deerfield Elementary for a seventh year! Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Special Education from Missouri Western State University and earned my master's degree from Northwest Missouri State University. I have 28 years of teaching experience in several grades, including Early Childhood Special Education, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade and Kindergarten!

My family has lived in a variety of places and are enjoying living in Lawrence. My husband and I have three grown boys who all live in different states; Kansas, Missouri, and Florida. 

2024-2025 will be a great year and I look forward to meeting the Deerfield families!
