“Many people need desperately to receive this message: 'I feel and think much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people do not care about them. You are not alone.” ― Kurt Vonnegut, Timequake

Mrs. Wright
  • I graduated from Kansas State University, where I studied Creative Writing, Spanish, and International Studies. I earned my Master of Arts in teaching from Loyola University of Maryland, and taught in Columbia, MD for four years. I am excited to be starting my third year at Free State!

In my free time, I love to travel, read books and watch TV, and pester my cats Salem and Willie.

I am thrilled to be sharing a classroom with you this year; we will focus on developing reading, writing, thinking, speaking and listening skills as we interact with a variety of media and texts.
