Haisai (Hello)! My name is Emily Boedeker and I am your music teacher! Originally from Western Kansas, I moved to Lawrence to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Music Education from KU. I have been a music and early childhood teacher for the last 14 years. For the past 7 years, I have worked and taught in Lawrence Public Schools. I love our Woodlawn community and I love making music with our Riverhawks!

 

In my spare time I like to take epic road trips and explore the National Parks with my daughter, Adelaide. As an extroverted extrovert, I love to hang out with friends and family. I also enjoy reading, binge watching TV shows, and spending time with my 3 dogs; Fat Walter, Pedro Pistachio and Remy Martin.
