Hello! I am honored to begin my fourth year as your counselor and a part of the Woodlawn Elementary family. I am here to connect with the students and support their academic, career and social-emotional development. My education includes a bachelor’s degree from KU in social welfare and a master’s degree in school counseling from Emporia State University. This will be my fifth year as a counselor, and my nineteenth in education.
As a lifelong Lawrence resident, I am proud to be serving students in my community. My family includes my son, Mason, and my boxer dog, Kiwi. When I am not at work, I enjoy walking, 80s music, traveling to warm destinations, scuba diving, swimming and home improvement projects.
I know that 2022-2023 will bring changes to our classrooms, but we will rise to the challenge. We will make this a memorable year at Woodlawn Elementary School. Let's do this!
