Hello! My name is Gina Battaglia Carter. Lawrence has been my home for over 3 decades.  I'm beginning my 6th year at Woodlawn and my 30th year in education.   I  love this school! I am excited to continue to help students with their reading and math skills! I have two children, Matthew, 26 years old, and Ellie, 22 years old. My son is a high school teacher, and my daughter is a 1st grade teacher.    I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from KU. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!   I love gardening (veggies and flowers), cooking for my family and friends and spoiling my 2 cats.   I enjoy watching baseball and football, and I love going to concerts!  So happy to be a Woodlawn Riverhawk!!!
