About Me:

This will be my 16^th year of teaching and 6th year as a Firebird.

I’m driven by a desire to learn, to know more, and to figure out how/why things work--I do everything possible to get students fired-up too. Students will find my class enjoyable, challenging, relatable, and applicable.

Outside of school, I have an eclectic group of interests that always seem to sneak their way into classroom discussions or lessons. A few of these include: adventure racing, orienteering, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, hunting, target shooting, archery, gardening, home renovation, and tending to my farm and farm animals—if it involves the outdoors, I’m bound to love it.
