Degrees and Certifications:
This will be my 13th year of teaching and 3rd year as a Firebird.
For the 2019-2020 school year, I will be teaching Writing for the College Bound, Workplace Reading, Novice Woodworking, Construction and Introduction to Design, Production, and Repair.
I’m driven by a desire to learn, to know more, and to figure out how/why things work--I do everything possible to get students fired-up too. Students will find my class enjoyable, challenging, relatable, and applicable.
Outside of school, I have an eclectic group of interests that always seem to sneak their way into classroom discussions or lessons. A few of these include: adventure racing, orienteering, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, hunting, target shooting, archery, gardening, home renovation, and tending to my farm and farm animals—if it involves the outdoors, I’m bound to love it.
