I have lived in Lawrence since I was in the 6th grade.  I went to Quail Run, West Junior High, Lawrence High School, and was part of the first graduating class of Free State High School.  After high school I came back to Free State to be a special education paraeducator for 7 years.  While working as a paraeducator I went back to school at KU to get my teaching degrees, secondary social studies and PreK-12 Functional Special Education.  This is currently my 12th year at Free State as a special education teacher.
