Ms. Dani Lotton-Barker

Greetings!  I am thrilled to be working with your kids.  I am one of the Gifted Education teachers working in the Enrichment Resource, or "ER", rooms here at Southwest Middle School.  I work with students who have Special Education Individual Education Plans for Gifted Education to help them address the specific learning needs identified in their IEP goals/plans.  I also work with general education teachers to provide other schoolwide enrichment opportunities for the students of Southwest.

I love learning and teaching at school and all day long!  My hobbies include reading, traveling, practicing my Spanish, and hanging out with my kids -- a third grade son and a sixth grade daughter.  My husband, Kelly Barker, also teaches here at Southwest.
