I am the School Psychologist for Free State High School. I was a special education teacher for 7 years prior to becoming a school psychologist, and I am in my 14th year as a school psychologist. My main role as a school psychologist is to work with students, families, and staff to ensure students have the most appropriate education available to them. I work with school staff to determine students’ current levels in many different areas including academics, behavior, emotional health, and other skills needed to be successful in school.
Outside of school, I am involved in my county 4-H program as a community leader at the club level, the clothing project fair superintendent, and the district 4-H professional development committee making recommendations for 4-H programming across the Meadowlark 4-H district. I have three girls, a college graduate, a college junior, and a high school junior. I enjoy quilting, gardening, and reading to relax.
