I am a Lawrence local although I completed my K-12 education in a rural Kansas community. After high school, I returned to Lawrence to attend the University of Kansas. I have been employed with Lawrence Public Schools since 2000 and moved into the role of assistant principal in 2022. Over the course of my career with LPS, I have served in many capacities but have always partnered with students and families to achieve a positive educational experience and outcome.

My husband and I are empty nesters with two young adult children. Our free time is now spent doing whatever it is we want to do. I enjoy getting lost in a great book and love just about anything containing milk chocolate.
