Hello LMCMS! My name is Mrs. Pellett,

I am starting my thirteenth year as an LMCMS Mustang. During my teaching career I have had the opportunity to teach students, kindergarten through high school. At Liberty Memorial Central Middle School, I have enjoyed working as a paraeducator, coach, and teacher. I have taught physical education and coached basketball and tennis. I am currently coaching tennis and teaching three courses: Healthy Living, Nutrition & Personal Wellness, and Career and Life Planning.

My six siblings and I had wonderful childhood adventures growing up in Andale, Kansas. But Lawrence has been my home for 33 years. My husband Dave and I, along with our two sons, Will and Nick, enjoy time with family and friends, traveling, sporting activities, and lively discussions about books, movies, and current events. Our dog Morpheus chimes in now and then with his opinions, while George The Cat reminds us that we’re all a bit goofy.

The start of this school year is going to be challenging, but as Mustangs we will meet these conflicts together, with courage and cooperation. I’m looking forward to this year because it will give us an opportunity to learn new things about ourselves, and new ways to acquire knowledge about the world around us. The LMCMS community has always found ways to come together and make changes for a better tomorrow.

Stay Mighty Mustangs!
