This is my 30th year of teaching and seventeenth year at the Lawrence Virtual School.  I have taught a variety of students, from 3rd grade to 9th grade, and subjects ranging from speech and drama to civics to algebra.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from Kansas University in Elementary and Middle School Education with minors in Theatre and Mathematics and a master’s degree from Kansas University in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics.  I live in Lawrence with my husband and two awesome kids, and work with sixth, seventh, and eighth grade families at LVS.  This year, I am the Content Specialist for English 6 and MS Communications.

I feel incredibly fortunate to work for the Lawrence Virtual School and enjoy partnering with parents to help their children learn.
