My name is Mrs. Lauren Elkin.  I went to Westminster College where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. Towards the end of college, I realized that my true passion was for teaching. I started my career working at North Callaway High School for five years and earned a Master’s of Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am currently working on earning my Educational Specialist degree through the University of Missouri-Columbia in Mathematics Education with an emphasis in online learning.

I've been with Lawrence Virtual School since the fall of 2012. I absolutely love what I do and could not be more excited to be working with LVS HS Academy to meet and begin working with all of you.
