• LMH Health Leadership Academy Summer 2023
    We are accepting applications for the 2023 LMH Health Leadership Academy! The Academy engages high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in experiences to give them a jump start on careers in healthcare administration, medicine, and allied health. The purpose of the Academy is to provide experiences to change beliefs and positively impact lives. The Academy intends to cultivate a diverse group of students in an effort to build a workforce that better represents the communities served in healthcare.
    Program overview and requirements:

      • Dates: June 1, 2023 – July 28, 2023
      • Must be 16 years old or older by June 1, 2023
      • Current high school sophomore, junior, or senior in USD 497, and be in good standing at your high school.
      • Eight-week program, 24 hours/week (paid)
      • This is not a clinical shadowing program.
      • Completed applications must be submitted by April 14, 2023.
         
        NOTE: 
        This program is in-person only and there is not a virtual option to attend.  Regular attendance is required. If you have questions, contact us at: Academy@LMH.ORG.

  • New Scholarship Available

    VFW of Lawrence and Ottawa

    $1,000 scholarship to 1 high school senior based upon need.  The student must be a child or grandchild of a Veteran or the student must be an ROTC candidate or a Kansas National Guard Member. See Mrs. Hare in student services if you have any questions or would like the application. The Scholarship is due April 15th.
