Welcome to West Middle School!

In my time here, I have taught 6th grade math, IPA math, and ELA with Team Rain; 6th grade ELA with Team Thunder; and then math again at the 6th and 7th grade levels.

I have been working for Lawrence Public Schools since 1994: 1 year as a substitute teacher, 3 years as a para-educator, 1 year as a second-grade teacher, and ALL the rest teaching sixth grade at Schwegler, Centennial, Langston Hughes, and finally, here at West. I am excited about teaching a 7th grade math class this year too!

I am Mom to two children, Mimi to two grandchildren, and teacher to more students than I can count!
