I have taught in the Lawrence Public School for 30 years. Most of my experience has been working with second graders. I've taught at Sunset Elementary for the last fifteen years. Prior to that, I taught at Kennedy, Centennial and Schwegler Elementary schools in Lawrence. I love teaching Second Grade! The second grade curriculum is lots of fun, and I love the fact that seven and eight year olds love coming to school and get so excited about everything we do!

 I have two grown daughters, Kayla and Maria, and two crazy dogs, Duke and Maggie.

When not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband, Paul, and our dogs. We love to watch soccer, and take the dogs for walks. I also enjoy scrapbooking, puzzles, and reading.
