Mrs. Hatfield has had the pleasure of teaching music at Schwegler Elementary since 2007. She holds a bachelors in degree in music education from the University of Kansas with an emphasis in vocal music and is certified to teach PreK-12th grade.

In her time outside of school, she conducts a choir for preschool-aged students and performs with various local musicians. She lives at home in Lawrence with her husband, three cats, and one dog.
