I have been teaching elementary art since 2008.  I spent six years teaching in Wichita, Ks, but finally moved back to where my heart is in good old Lawrence, Kansas!  I am two times a Jayhawk, and love the city.  Teaching art is my passion.  I always tell my students you can never use your creativity or imagination too much.  In my classroom, we focus on the elements and principles of design while building our creativity and imagination through creating art, looking at art, and learning about artists.  There is always something wonderful going on in the art room.  Come see our Schwegler Art Gallery located by the front office.
