Mrs. Brown is a third grade teacher at Schwegler Elementary. This is her fifth year of teaching. The past three years she has taught second grade. This year will be her first year teaching third grade. She received her Bachelor's degree at Emporia State University in Elementary Education. 

Mrs. Brown grew up in Lawrence, Kansas. She attended Sunflower Elementary, Southwest Junior High, and graduated from Lawrence High School in 2005.  

My husband and I just moved to Lawrence from Basehor, Kansas. It will be nice not having to commute. This year, we will expecting our first child in September.
