I am a graduate of Emporia State University, class of 2014. I received my first teaching job at Lawrence Public Schools in 2014 and have been teaching at Schwegler since 2014. I will be starting my 9th year at Schwegler. This year I will be teaching first grade.

 

Who is Mrs. Brown? I grew up in Lawrence. I attended Sunflower, Southwest, and graduated from Lawrence High School. I enjoy reading, being outside, and hanging out with my favorite person in the world, my son. Coffee is my go-to beverage as well as water. I am a huge fan of dark chocolate and peanut butter. My favorite hobby is practicing the violin. 

 

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and helping each student shine their light and shine bright.
