Hi there! My name is Brandy Hayes.  Welcome to fifth grade! I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach at Quail Run!

I graduated from the University of Kansas, May 2019, with a degree in Elementary Education. Before that, I worked at Raintree Montessori School, where I developed a passion for teaching and helping students succeed. I didn't plan on going back to college, but my experience with these kiddos made me realize that teaching is what I wanted to do. I went back to college, in 2014, at the age of 22. I had taught at Raintree, as an assistant teacher, for about two years.      

Lawrence is my home. I was born here, but moved around quite a bit when I was younger. During my time off, after graduating high school and before going to college, I got married and I had my daughter, Abigail (Abby), whom I absolutely adore. She is a third grader at Quail. In 2020 my husband and I welcomed our second daughter, Emerson (Emmie), who is an absolute blessing.
