I have been a special education teacher for 25 years in the school district, and 4 years at Lawrence High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Kansas in 1985. Helping students be successful and watching them become independent learners is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching.
