Hello! My name is Jillian Desmond and I teach 3rd grade. I began my teaching career in 2012, and I have been at Langston Hughes since 2014. Here at Langston I was a 4th grade teacher for 8 years, instructional coach for a year, and it is now my 2nd year in 3rd grade! I love the curriculum, especially multiplication and division, Lawrence history, and life cycles. I am excited for a great school year and to see how much my students learn and grow!
