Hello!

My name is Jessica Welchhans.  I graduated from Kansas State University in 2000 with a Bachelor's in Secondary Math Education. I am in my seventh year of teaching, having taken time out of the classroom to raise our two children.I will be teaching Integrated Math I and Geometry this year. 

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 21 years, and we have lived in Lawrence for the last 12 years. We have two children, both of whom will also be attending Free State this year. We have three "Foster Fail" pets that live with us as well. Our dog is named Xena, and we have two cats. (Brody and Izzy). In my spare time I enjoy music, knitting, reading and watching sports at home from my couch.
