Hi there! My name is Amanda Thompson and I am a third grade teacher here at Cordley! I am so excited to be here!! I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Brigham Young University, as well as an ESL endorsement. 

I just got married this summer and might mix up my maiden name and married name a lot this year! I apologize in advance to both you and your child haha. My husband and I moved from Utah and we are so excited to be here in Lawrence. We have already felt so much love and there is a great community here! 

In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports (especially basketball). I also really like to dance and go on hikes! I am so thrilled to teach third grade. It's going to be a wonderful year!
