Hello Woodlawn and Prairie Park Families!

My name is Robin Cooper-Cornejo, and I am the School Social Worker for Woodlawn and Prairie Park Elementary Schools.  Though the 2024-25 school year marks my 12th year in Lawrence Public Schools, I have been a school social worker, school counselor, mental health counselor or non-profit educator for 30+ years in Northeast Kansas.  As I look toward the end of my career in education, I am thrilled to be a school social worker in Lawrence, working with students, school staff, families, and community partners to ensure student success behaviorally, academically and socially in their school community.   Please contact me with any questions or concerns about your students' school experience, their Individual Education Plan or inquiries about community resources, as I am a member of both Special Education and Mental Health Teams at both Woodlawn and Prairie Park and am happy to assist in any way!
