• I love Sunflower Elementary! I am here to help families and students.

    I have worked for Lawrence Public Schools for many years, and love being part of the Sunflower team.

    I grew up here in Lawrence and married my high school sweetheart. I graduated from KU with a degree in journalism. I have worked for the Iowa City Press-Citizen and Lawrence Journal-World newspapers. I have also worked at Kennedy and Broken Arrow schools. I have three grown children and six grandchildren.
