6th & 7th Grade Math Teacher

Ana Maria Wilde is excited to be rejoining our Liberty Memorial Central Middle School community this coming school year! Ms. Wilde began working for Lawrence Public Schools in 2012 at Central as an ESL and Special Education Para-educator.  After two years of teaching fifth grade at Cordley Elementary, Ms. Wilde is joining us as a 6^th and 7^th grade math teacher. Ms. Wilde has lived in Lawrence since 2002 and loves being part of our Lawrence community. Ms. Wilde earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and her Master of Arts in Teaching and ESL Endorsement from Kansas State University. Ms. Wilde is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, and always happy to help support our Spanish-speaking families. Ms. Wilde’s main goal as a math teacher is to make math fun and approachable for all students, as well as to support each student in taking ownership of their learning!
